Full-time Container Shipping Department Supervisor position for our operations department in growing German / International shipping company is available immediately.

Good leading skills, computer skills, fluency in English and German speaking and writing (Spanish is a plus), experience in customer service over the phone or in direct contact and knowledge in international forwarding (Speditionskaufmann/frau) of container and RORO shipments is required. We are looking for a well educated person with experience in the shipping industry who is interested in working with people of different cultures and nationalities and able to work under pressure and on several different tasks at the same time.

We expect from the candidate:

Supervising and training department staff, properly organizing job functions and ensuring various export tasks are completed, to be responsible for verifying accuracy of all shipping instructions and documents; good communication skills. Applicant must have knowledge in ocean and inland transportation and must have experience in preparing ocean bill of lading.

Our headquarter is based in Hamburg and Bremerhaven, Germany. The main business out of Ft. Lauderdale is shipping of cars and boats RORO or in container from the USA to Europe.

We are looking for a responsible, well organized, flexible person who can also stay focused in stress situations.
